Lovely weekend spent on this new site. David, the owner, was lovely, very welcoming & friendly. All aspects of the site have been well thought through to create a very scenic, relaxing place to be, with amazing lake views. The farm shop is very reasonably priced & the food was beautiful. There is also a lovely cafe on site, once again reasonably priced. For dogs, there is an enclosed field with water bowls, dog bags & dog toys, which was a unique touch. The facilities are modern & spotless, perfect stay.

Being inexperienced with touring caravans, towing, and hooking up to power, water etc, we wanted somewhere close to home that would allow us to find our feet! We regularly visit the farm shop and cafe so it was an easy choice to book a pitch in The Orchard for our first trip. The setting and surrounding countryside are lovely, the staff really helpful and overall the weekend was just perfect.

We watched the development of this caravan park on their Facebook page over the past 6 months and couldn't wait to visit. It really is a nice caravan park, just as we had hoped for. Very clean, quiet and McCallums Cafe offers tasty food at very reasonable prices.
