Peace of mind when cancelling your booking
Our optional cancellation scheme provides cover should you need to cancel your booking with Bank End Waters (excluding pandemic or epidemic situations).
Our current fee is £2.25 per night
The policy can only be taken out at the time of booking (select when booking under Extras). We recommend you also refer to our terms and conditions for a clear understanding of the agreements made when booking your stay, with and without our cancellation plan.
Refunds WITH the Cancelation Plan cover
- If you cancel giving 8 days or more notice before the arrival date > 100% refund (minus the cancellation plan charge)
- If you cancel giving 7 days or less notice before the arrival date > 50% refund (minus the cancellation plan charge)
Example: 10 night stay at £27.00 per night = £270.00 + Cancelation Plan £2.25 per night = £22.50 // TOTAL £292.50
- Cancel with 8 days or more notice > 100% refund £292.50 – £22.50 = £270.00 refund
- Cancel with 7 days or less notice > 50% refund £146.25 – £22.50 = £123.75 refund
Qualifying criteria
- The death, bodily injury, illness, or admission to a hospital as an inpatient to you or any other member of your party or immediate family (excludes pets), where the cancellation is certified as medically necessary by a medical practitioner.
- Redundancy qualifying for payment under any applicable statute of any person in your party.
- When you or a person in your party is required for compulsory jury or witness service in a Court of Law during the period of your booking.
Definitions
- Immediate family > means the partner, or the child, grandchild, brother, sister, parent, or grandparent of you or a person in your party.
- Qualified Medical Practitioner > a doctor or specialist who is registered or licensed to practice medicine under the laws of the country in which they practice.
Cancellation procedure & refund payments
- If you need to cancel your booking for a qualifying reason, please contact us immediately by telephone. We will acknowledge the cancellation request and ask for the associated documents and evidence to be sent formally by email or letter.
- We will process your cancellation and make payment of your refund within 14 working days of receiving the required documents and evidence, subject to the claim qualifying under the terms of our cancellation plan.
